"Naked Child" is the third album from one of the original "outlaw" country singer/songwriters. Guests include Carlene on vocals, along with Tracy Nelson, and J.J. Cale.

"Naked Child" was later released on CD (shown here) combined with Clayton's second album, "Border Affair" from 1978.

Bono of U2 once said: "There's only one country singer who has influenced me and he's an unknown feller called Lee Clayton."
