With a light-hearted groove and a cheesy but festive organ, Carlene Carter would like to wish you a "Rockin' Little Christmas." Written by Carter and former NRBQ guitarist Al Anderson (the same team that penned "Every Little Thing"), "Rockin' Little Christmas" opens "Giant Country Christmas Volume 1," a compilation of holiday fare from new and familiar country artists like Clay Walker, Kenny Rogers and Orrall & Wright. And given the blues-based country sounds of Dennis Robbins' "Santa's On Vacation," Chad Mullins' "Christmas Angel" and Walker's "Blue Christmas," "Rockin' Little Christmas" is an appropriate way to start the album.
